On October 10, 2026, Batang Ecozone and the University of Santo Tomas Alumni Association, Inc. (USTAAI) held the Medical, Surgical and Dental Mission 2026 at Malasa Integrated School, Barangay Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac. The mission served underprivileged families, Aeta, and other Indigenous Peoples (IPs).
Led by Batang Ecozone president Engr. Jerenato “Jerry” Alfante and executive vice president Froilan Sanchez, the mission offered medical consultations, OB-GYN, eye care, ENT, dermatology, dental care, surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and feeding support.
Afterward, the group paid a courtesy visit to Chairman Oscar Riverra and CADT IP officials, led by Governor and former Barangay Captain Danilo Abrias. They discussed future programs for Indigenous communities, including IP workers in economic zones and their families.
Through missions like this, Batang Ecozone aims to bring healthcare closer to the communities that need it most.
